Five months after a bus crash killed 16 people, the Humboldt Broncos hosted their first regular-season game against the Nipawin Hawks, the team they were travelling to face the night of the April crash with a tractor-trailer. The Broncos scored the first goal of the game, but eventually lost 2-1.
